Today we choose the football player celebrity: Gerard Piqué.
Gerard Piqué is the defence of FCB. He plays in the centre of defence with Carles Puyol, the other Catalan player. Gerard Piqué was born on 2 of February in 1987.
When Piqué was a kid he played in the FCB’s school with Lionel Messi and Cesc Fabregas.
When he was 17 years he went to England, in Manchester United. Later, in summer of 2006 Manchester transfer the catalan player to Real Zaragoza, the team of Spanish league. And at 2007 Pique returned to Manchester. This year it won the UEFA champions league and Premier league. In UEFA champions league he did his firsts goals, versos Dynamo Kiev and A.S. Roma.
In 2008 FC Barcelona bought him .At 2 of may of 2009 he did his 6 goal with Barcelona, versos Real Madrid, in the fantastic mach what FCB won to Madrid for 2-6 (Gerard did the last goal ). This year FCB won the all of championships, Spanish league, UEFA champions league, king Cup, world cup of clubs, Super cup of Spain and Super cup of Europe.
He was international in 14 opportunities with Spanish selection. He make to debut at 11 of February of 2009 in a match what played in Sanchez Pijuan the Sevilla’s stadium, versos England selection. With Catalan selection he played in 3 opportunities, the last in FCB’s stadium versos Argentina, to manage for Diego Armando Maradona.
